Wednesday Revisit: How to Get a Good Night’s Sleep

Because many of you are new to the site and because things change, every Wednesday I post an old post for us to revisit.  Feedback is always welcome.

Two years ago I wrote up my rules to myself about how to get a good night’s sleep.  I wrote them for myself on paper and kept it near my bed because I wasn’t in the habit of keeping my rules yet.  They worked so well I made a lot of effort to go by them.  Anyway here they are:

Note: this article deals with insulin.  I’ve heard that it’s a good idea for a pre diabetic or type 2 diabetic to have a spoonful or two of almond butter before bed to help keep early morning blood sugars stable.  I don’t know if it’s true but it sounds like there is no risk in trying.  Besides, that stuff is delicious!
